Earlier this month, Joshua Carrier, 30, was arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a child for allegedly possessing child pornography. Investigators said the information they had at the time suggested his actions were limited to the purchases of commercial child pornography.

The investigation has revealed additional evidence to suggest that Carrier had unlawful sexual contact with minor children. The Crimes Against Children Unit has identified multiple victims.

Carrier was arrested on charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. He was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on a bond of $500,000.

Carrier remains on paid administrative leave.
