Cherry Creek Dam Road Closed Until May 30

DENVER (CBS4) - Cherry Creek Dam Road will be closed for the rest of May.

Work began Monday morning to install new wells that will monitor the safety of the dam at the reservoir.

Drivers will have to use Interstate 225 instead.

The dam is scheduled to reopen on May 30.
