Skydiver Dies After Hard Landing In Morgan County
FORT MORGAN, Colo. (AP) - The Morgan County Sheriff's office says a 27-year-old skydiver died after making a hard landing during his second jump of the day.
The sheriff's office says Brady Kane was alive when he landed after a jump at the Fort Morgan Airport Saturday afternoon but he was gravely injured. First responders tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him. He died at the scene.
Police say Kane, of Erie, was an experienced skydiver who had made more than 5,000 dives. The Denver Post reported Sunday that Kane part of a group of skydivers jumping at the airport.
Police say there's no evidence that the equipment Kane used contributed to the accident.
