AUSTIN, Texas (CBS4) – The last person to see a missing Denver woman has been arrested in Texas.

Travis Forbes, 31, was arrested in Austin by members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on charges unrelated to the disappearance of Kenia Monge.

Monge hasn’t been seen since April 1 when she was out with friends in downtown Denver.

Forbes says he gave her a ride from a bar, but says she walked off with a stranger when they stopped at a gas station.

Late Friday afternoon Monge’s father Tony Lee told CBS4 he is hopeful Forbes can provide more information on what happened to his daughter.

Forbes was arrested without incident on a Colorado charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

He is not being called a suspect in Monge’s disappearance.
