Man Seriously Injured From Fallen Tree Branch
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A man suffered severe injuries Saturday morning after being trapped underneath a large tree limb.
The man, who is in his mid 50s, had been working for the Bring It Down Tree Service to remove the tree from a yard. While cutting down the branch he became pinned under a large section of tree.
The limb was so heavy firefighters had to call in special equipment, including large airbags, to lift the branch off the man.
Lakewood's forestry division will remove the rest of the tree from the yard.
The injured worker was being treated at St. Anthony's Central. No word on his condition.
