Bluebird Theatre Will Save Big With New Bulbs
DENVER (CBS4) - The Bluebird Theater landmark that's been since 1913 and it will shine a lot longer with new light bulbs that use 73 percent less energy.
On Tuesday workers replaced more than 500 incandescent light bulbs on the marquee. It was part of the city's Small Business Energy Assistance Program.
The new bulbs will save the Bluebird $3,600s a year.
The city hopes to expand its energy program to other small businesses.
