Greeley Police: 4 Teens Suspected Of Burglaries

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Greeley police say four teenagers are suspected of participating in more than 50 vehicle break-ins and burglaries around the city in the last few months.

Police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych says the boys were arrested this week and the Weld County District Attorney's office is reviewing the case to determine whether to file charges.

Tymkowych says investigators arrested the four teens after officers found items that were allegedly stolen in the home of one of the teens who had an arrest warrant.

The Greeley Tribune reported Sunday that three of the teens were released to their parents and the oldest boy in the group, a 17-year-old, is being held at a youth detention center.

The teenagers are not being named because they're juveniles.
