Light-Rail Users Get Slow Start

DENVER (CBS4) - On Thursday morning light-rail users in the Denver metro area experienced delays.

The first trains out in the morning were not running as frequently as usual.

Regional Transportation District Spokesman Scott Reed said a power problem at the train storage yard was to blame. Trains were initially running only every 20 minutes.

RTD worked with Xcel to fix the problem.

Trains were fully operational by 6:30 a.m.
