Major Cocaine Pipeline Into Denver Busted

DENVER (CBS4)- Police have busted a major cocaine pipeline into the Denver area.

The State Attorney General's Office said the Loya family brought 24 kilograms of cocaine from Mexico through New Mexico and into the Denver area during the past year.

Police arrested two of the alleged ringleaders, Abel Loya and Noel Loya Loya.

Manuel Loya Loya is on the run, believed to be in Mexico.

Seven other suspects in the trafficking operation are also being held in the Adams County Jail.
