Twin-Engine Plane Reported Missing In W. Colorado

WOLCOTT, Colo. (AP) - A search is under way in western Colorado for a small, private plane that lost radar contact with Eagle County and Denver airports.

The Eagle County sheriff's office says the Beech 60 Duke twin-engine plane lost radar contact at about 4:30 Wednesday. Emergency responders are searching north of Wolcott, the last place a signal was received.

The plane was making a final approach to the Eagle County Regional Airport in Eagle.

Authorities don't know how many people are onboard.
