5 Teams Sign For Quiznos Pro Challenge

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - The inaugural Quiznos Pro Challenge pro-bicyling event to be held in Colorado next year has signed its first five teams, one of which includes Lance Armstrong, sponsor Quiznos announced Wednesday.

Current world champion Thor Hushovd and former world champion Cadel Evans also are members of participating teams, although which team members will take part in the Colorado event has not been determined, the Denver-based sandwich-shop franchiser said. Armstrong, the seven-time winner of the Tour de France, was a key player in launching the race.
