Join The Colorado Symphony for its opening night along with pianist Andre Watts as he shares Tchaikovsky's Number Six Symphony, which has been called "Tchaikovsky's greatest achievement in symphonic writing" and has been a popular piece for classical music fans for over a century. In addition, Watts will also be performing Brahms' Piano Concerto Number Two. Both pieces are favorites of classic pianists across the globe and this performance is sure to be something truly special.

The Jerusalem Quartet is coming to Denver as part of the Mizel Arts and Cultural Center's Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music Festival. The Jerusalem Quartet is a string quartet from Israel that performs the music of Beethoven, Brahms and Shostakovich. The quartet has been traveling the world, making a huge name for itself in the classical music scene with just two violins, a viola and a cello. Four instruments have never sounded quite so good.

Johannes Moser is a bright, new talent that is becoming a huge name in the world of contemporary classical music performance. He will be playing the cello, backed by the CU Symphony Orchestra, for an evening filled with amazing and unforgettable classical music. Moser has recently performed with both the LA and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras, so it is a rare treat to have him accompanied by the talented students at the University of Colorado.

Make the drive up to scenic Breckenridge, Colorado for the opening concert of the 2012-2013 winter series with "From Bach to the Beatles." This performance will take the audience on a trip through the history of music from Bach through the Beatles performed by some of the best choral orchestral voices in town.
