La Loma has green chili that can be rivaled by few in the Denver area. Whether smothered and encased in a burrito or eaten in a big bowl by itself, this chili will warm you right up. Its semi-thick, almost creamy textured broth is filled with large chunks of pork, tomatillos, jalapenos, cumin, oregano and garlic.

Unexpected from a high-end steakhouse, Elway’s serves up a $10 bowl of delicious spicy, stew-like steak chili. The bowl is filled with a dark red broth that holds all types of aromatic spices and chili powders, giving it a noticeable kick that will sneak up on any eater.
