Estiatorio Axios opened in September of 2011 in northwest Denver. It has some amazing items on the menu including gyros, a chicken kebab pita or a lamb burger. As pulled from the menu descriptions, entrees include souvlaki (skewers of marinated pork tenderloin, grilled and served with Greek rice, seasonal vegetables and tzatziki) and arni psito (slow-braised lamb ribs finished with a Greek fig and red-wine barbecue sauce, served with garlic and feta mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables). The restaurant also has an impressive choice of pastas and casseroles. With a special kids menu, it’s a great place to take the family out for dinner.
