Open from sunrise to sunset, it's easy to plan your day without a rigid set of hours, and you can pop into the visitor's center prior to your visit for a list of places of interest and additional information about the refuge. The visitor's center is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As a venue in which artists can showcase and sell their work, Artwork Network Gallery and Event Center has a lot of interesting and unique works of art. The gallery also offers various exhibitions with free admission. The current exhibition, Entice, features pieces from Colorado based artists Karen Roehl, Alyson Khan, and Rebecca Zimmerman.
