Seeing a show at Comedy Works is an excellent idea for a double date for a few reasons. First off, there aren't many people who don't enjoy a good laugh. Plus, you don't have to do anything but just sit back, have a couple drinks, and listen to some great jokes. Not only that, but Comedy Works consistently has outstanding talent rolling through (check out the event calendar here), so it's fairly easy to find someone everyone will enjoy. Lastly, it can be inexpensive, is located in the heart of one of the more fun sections of downtown, and can be a great pre-cursor to any night on the town.

One of Denver's most famous landmarks, Lakeside Amusement Park provides for a great evening for visitors of all ages. With tons of old-school amusement park rides, including the world famous Cyclone and the whip-lash inducing Wild Chipmunk, Lakeside can provide hours of entertainment for a small group. Plus, they have loads of booth games so you can show off your skills and win that special someone a souvenir from a night they won't forget. One of the best parts about Lakeside, though, is how beautiful the park looks at night with all of the lights reflecting off the lake, so this is definitely somewhere to try for a double date.

Spend An Evening In The LoDo/Ballpark Area
20th and Blake St.
Denver, CO 80202

This is easily one of the most fun areas in the Mile High City and actually makes for a perfect location for a double date. First off, you can start with dinner at any of the nearby restaurants, all of which are unique in their own right and downright delicious. Then, grab cheap tickets to a game and see your Rockies play at Coors Field. After the Rockies win, head to any of the great bars nearby for a drink to cap the evening. If you don't want the night to end, head to Beta Nightclub for a night full of dancing to some of the world's best DJs. Whatever you choose to do, a great time is guaranteed for everyone.
