There are many beloved fall traditions, and for many families, that includes a stroll through a corn maze. Though Colorado is home to many bustling metropolises, it is also rich in bountiful farm land as well, making fall corn maze options plentiful. Below are the top choices of the area farms that have large and adventurous mazes.

With eight acres to explore, Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield takes the typical corn maze to the next level. It has fun games for the kids like searching for Farmer Green's lost animals, large bridges to view the maze design and a mini maze for the young ones. Along with maze tickets come a hayride. Appropriate for the whole family, the corn maze will provide a day's worth of fun, and in October, visitors who stay past dark to witness the Glow Maze. The maze is operational from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1, giving plenty of opportunities to partake.

Anderson Farms is a fall mainstay in Colorado. From its iconic corn maze designs to the plethora of family activities, it is the epitome of autumn festivals. The mazes cover more than 30 acres with trails covering more than eight miles, and if a corn maze isn't fun enough on its own, Anderson Farms adds some games. The maze is separated into four sections and three games, all mapped out in the informative handout guests receive upon entry. Whichever game you decide to play will ensure that a day at the farm is an exciting one.

Most corn mazes are located on the outskirts of the city, for obvious reasons, but the Crazed Maze is nestled in Thornton, making for a light commute.
