The holidays bring family, friends and joy to the Denver area. Along with that joy often comes stress and the need to get away for a bit. But this it can be tough this time of year, what with all the other expenses. However, there are some great places right outside of Denver for people suffering from holiday stress to relax and rejuvenate before or after their planned holiday activities.

The holiday season at the Broadmoor is an experience. No doubt most people searching for a holiday getaway would not even think to be able to stay at such a luxurious hotel. Just up the road is a fun holiday getaway called the Table Mountain Inn. Although it has fabulous packages filled with romance and nightlife, it also offers rooms for as low as $139 a night. Even if a visitor to Golden has been there before, the Coors Brewery Tour is always a fun way to spend an afternoon. Just up the path is Lookout Mountain Road where Buffalo Bill’s Gravesite and Museum can be found along with some beautiful hiking in good weather.
