Tucked away in all the nightclubs on Broadway in the SoCo (South of Colfax) district is The Living Room. It offers a mature scene with a sophisticated wine list and lots of hand-crafted choices of beer. That's attracted a 30s and up crowd. And the decor is helpful with Maxfield Parrish paintings, dimly lit modern sofas, and a fun 60s style bubble chair. There's even a warming fire pit on the patio making it a perfect place to snuggle when there's a bit of Colorado nip in the air. The Living Room offers an amazing flight wine tasting deal where you can sometimes get a taste of a $100 bottle.

For years, the Tavern at Uptown has been a well-known and always hopping gathering place for singles mingling.
Be it groups of sports watchers, hollerin' trivia players, business men and women in for happy hour, college ages playing mini-bowling in the back, or neighborhood summer enjoyers just lounging on the grass with their pints in the large outdoor back patio-you're bound to bump into someone of interest! The other Tavern locations including Lowry, DTC and the Downtown Littleton offer the same environment.

The owner of Luca d'Italia, Chef-proprietor Frank Bonanno, brought Osteria Marco to Larimer Square to offer a more "playful version" of the Italian drink and eatery. The majority of the restaurant is laid out in booths and tables, but there's also space for large parties, even some community tables where guests can sit together even if they don't know each other. It's a great way to meet new folks, especially when there's so much great food to start the conversation.

It's a cool concept - a kitchen and bar showered in road trip memorabilia and that means The Interstate Kitchen & Bar is the perfect place to meet people. You'll find lots of comfort food including chicken fried steak and deviled. You can wash them all down ice cold cans of beer or maybe pick one of the 50 different whiskeys. You'll find both a great bar area to mingle or a smaller dining room for a more intimate experience.

Ogden Street South

Denver, CO 80209

Sometimes you need a little music to get the party started. Ogden Street South in the Wash Park neighborhood is a classic karaoke spot. In fact it often takes top honors for Denver's karaoke bars but these songs often come with a little good-natured ribbing. Happy hour offers plenty of liquid inspiration with $1.50 beers, $2 well drinks and a buck off everything else.
