The Mile High City is full of fanatic football fans, and the biggest football game of the year is right around the corner. The 2013 Super Bowl is one of the best party days of the year, even if you aren’t a big football fan. Several bars around town feature food and drink specials and some have contests and raffles throughout the day. Below are the top five bars to experience the 2013 Super Bowl.

Each year, The Soiled Dove hosts a huge Super Bowl party. This is normally a live entertainment venue, but it transforms into one of Denver’s biggest party spots for the Super Bowl. The venue sells out early. Tickets are on sale now for $35, and that includes all you can eat and drink (of Bud drafts and well drinks). Each year it has hosted a full buffet and huge projection-screen TVs are set up throughout the venue. There are also contests and raffles throughout the party. This popular destination is family owned and operated right here in Denver. It’s also a fantastic place to watch some live music while relaxing with friends.

Lodo’s Bar & Grill in downtown Denver is a popular place to watch the Super Bowl. Each year, it has a “Retro” Super Bowl party and features several types of drink and food specials.
