Denver Spring Comedy Preview

The Comedy Works South at The Landmark DTC is one of the newest comedy houses around. This new comedy club is about 15 minutes south of its sister location in downtown Denver and you’ll find it’s worth the trek. Comedy Works South has lost of space, decent parking and facilities for private parties. The food is excellent (remember that all shows require a two drink minimum,) and the comedy talent is some of the best in the nation. Here are some great acts coming through this spring.

John Heffron

John Heffron is a sensational comic with serious acting roots. He’s made his rounds with top late night shows including “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Show with David Letterman.” If you don’t crack up at his show – seek help.

Tracy Morgan is not for the timid or the easily offended. He’s a laugh-riot with a raunchy show that has no shame. Morgan is an comic meteor with major appearances on NBC’s “30 Rock,” “Saturday Night Live” and films such as “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Little Man” and most recently, “Cop Out.” Don’t miss this limited engagement.

Jake Johannsen
