For many, Sushi is an acquired taste. I have acquired it. I love it in all its many forms. Here are some good places to try.

The Yellowtail Tuna appetizer is marvelous, as is the Poke. Taki Sushi has a very relaxed atmosphere.

This is a real go to place for me. The rolls are tremendous – make sure you try the King Roll and the Volcano Roll. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. All goes well with a large Sapporo or Kirin, especially if one of your children can drive you home.

Suchi Sasa is expensive, but offers a good atmosphere and the kind of place that you walk into and determine -- "I'm going to try something completely different today." That sense of adventure makes the entire experience well worth it.

The Sushi Den has long considered Denver's top sushi restaurant, though lately I've heard a lot of debate on the matter. It offers a solid presentation, great food and good service. It's a bit pricey, but the fish is melt-in-your mouth delicious.
