Best Massages In Denver

There’s nothing better than a good massage. Well, maybe a few things, but not many! The Mile High City has its fair share of hotel and day spas. We’ve done our research (a grueling task though it was) and have put together our recommendations for the best massages in Denver.

Woodhouse Day Spa

941 East 17th Avenue
Denver, CO 80218
(303) 813-8488
www.denver.woodhousespas.com

Ah, the Woodhouse Day Spa. This little gem is in the middle of downtown Denver, yet step inside and it’s a whole different world. This old mansion turned tranquil spa offers some of the most relaxing massages in the city, from four-handed and volcanic stone massage to chakra aromatherapy massage and deep tissue. Our favorite service, though is the “Woodhouse Escape,” a blissful head-to-toe ritual that includes massage, reflexology and scalp massage. The organic sugar scrub pedicure is another popular highlight. The wine, snacks and champagne in the waiting room are just some of the many reasons we picked the Woodhouse as one of the best massages in Denver. Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 9 am to 7 pm; Thursday through Sunday, 9 am to 8 pm.

Indulgences Day Spa

3456 West 32nd Avenue
Denver, CO 80211
(303) 561-0566
www.indulgencesdayspa.com

Indulgences Day Spa makes workweek worries melt away with their relaxing massage and skin treatments. The spa, located in Highland Square, has an award-winning couples treatment for those who enjoy together time. If you just have time for a facial, the Indulgences Signature Facial is the best in town. Open seven days a week. Hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 8 pm; Friday, 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.

TallGrass Aveda Spa & Salon

997 Upper Bear Creek Road
Evergreen, CO 80439
(303) 670-4444
www.tallgrassspa.com

This spa is located in Evergreen, in the foothills just outside of Denver, but the 20-minute drive is well worth it. The beautiful alpine setting is just the beginning. Start your visit in the Great Room, where you can relax and soak in a view of Mt. Evans through the window. Then choose from an array of services, from a 50-minute aromatherapy massage to a deluxe half-day treatment, including an 80-minute massage, Elemental Nature Facial, Caribbean Therapy Manicure and spa lunch. When you’re through, it’s a good idea to look at the Luxury Board, where a 15 percent savings can be found on services booked the same day. Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 am to 7:30 pm; Thursday through Friday, 8:30 am to 8:30 pm; Saturday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 6:30 pm.
