All the spring snow that fell in the high country last month has started to melt which is causing a lot of runoff along the Front Range.
With the spring thaw in sight many communities hit hard by last September’s floods are worried about a heavier than usual runoff. One of those communities is Glen Haven, located between Estes Park and Fort Collins.
It’s a race against the clock for Boulder County as six months after the historic floods there are still dozens of flood damaged sites that need to be fixed before the spring runoff.
This week marks the six month anniversary since the floods devastated Colorado, and while the state has seen recovery there is still a lot to do.
