Yet another Colorado resort is making its ski season last a little longer.
Arapahoe Basin is traditionally among the first resorts in the country to open for the season, and this year it’s getting a bit of a boost from some natural snowfalls.

Aspen Mountain’s extended ski season is over. The resort had closed in mid-April, but with plenty of late spring snow, it reopened the top of the mountain for skiing over Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend.
This is supposed to be mud season, when most seasonal Colorado ski resort employees have left for the summer and most ski areas are closed.
While Denver has been getting rain, the mountains continue to get more snow. That means skiers may get a summer ski season.
