Daniel Abeyta was charged with first-degree murder, among other charges, after an August 2013 crime in Denver in which he allegedly shot and killed his neighbor and shot and wounded his wife. After the shootings, he was shot by a police officer after they say he shot at a propane tank with gunpowder on top that had been placed near his home.

Sister Says Woman Recovering In Hospital Is Gunman’s Wife

The sister of a Southwest Denver woman who is recovering at the hospital after allegedly being shot by her husband told CBS4 the woman who was shot to death was her sister’s neighbor, who was trying to help her.
