Opinion: 8.2 Percent Unemployment Rate Won’t Reelect Obama

Of all the signs leading to a defeat for President Barack Obama in the presidential election of 2012, the most glaring sign is the 8.2% unemployment rate.

However, the intriguing element of Reagan’s mythic status reaching a new level is how he has become an anachronism. For today’s GOP leaders, he is a litmus test and an impossible standard, all at the same time.
