Guzman Keys Late Rally As Padres Beat Rockies 8-3

Jesus Guzman drove in three runs, including the go-ahead run in a six-run eighth inning, as the San Diego Padres avoided a three-game sweep with an 8-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.

Latos Snaps 10-Loss Skid As Padres Beat Rockies

“I don’t think there was a monkey on my back,” Mat Latos insisted after snapping a personal 10-game losing streak in the San Diego Padres’ 8-2 win over the slumping Colorado Rockies on Sunday.

Harang, Venable Lead Padres Past Rockies

Aaron Harang pitched two perfect innings in his spring debut for San Diego, and Will Venable hit a three-run homer in the Padres’ 7-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.
