Desmond’s Homer Lifts Nationals Past Rockies 4-3

After a replay review, Ian Desmond’s solo homer provided the go-ahead run and the Washington Nationals rallied from a three-run deficit for 4-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night, sweeping the three-game series.

Barnes, Rockies End 8-Game Skid, Top Dodgers In 10

Brandon Barnes hit a winning triple off the center-field wall in the 10th inning and the Colorado Rockies snapped an eight-game losing streak, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 Saturday.

Gonzalez Goes On DL With Inflamed Index Finger

The Colorado Rockies have placed All-Star outfielder Carlos Gonzalez on the 15-day disabled list with an inflamed left index finger that’s bothered him most of the season.
