‘Captain America’ Screening Benefits Aurora Theater Shooting Victims

A portion of ticket sales from a screening of “Captain America” Monday night is going directly to the nonprofit group “Aurora Rise,” which supports victims and survivors of the theater shootings.

Colorado, Connecticut Gun Activists Go To DC After Shooting

Relatives of victims of two recent high-profile mass shootings in the U.S., the Colorado movie theater rampage and the massacre at a Connecticut elementary school, traveled with activists to Washington on Tuesday to lobby again for gun control.

There’s a chance for Coloradans to help honor the victims and survivors of the Aurora movie theater shootings. This Saturday marks one year since 12 people were killed and dozens more hurt.
