A wildfire that nearly prompted the evacuation of the tiny eastern Colorado town of Karval (KAHR’-vuhl) is now fully contained.


Entire Town Evacuated Because Of Fire

The entire town of Karval has been ordered to evacuate because of a fire that’s 6 to 8 miles wide. The fire is burning off Highway 71 and County Road M in Lincoln County, six miles west of Karval.
