Jake Snakenberg Youth Concussion Act
Researchers believe concussions can be a very serious condition if left untreated.
The Colorado Senate approved a bill that would prevent young athletes believed to have suffered a concussion from returning to a game unless they’ve received medical clearance.
Former Denver Bronco’s Wide Receiver Ed McCaffrey showed his support for Senate Bill 40, the “Jake Snakenberg Youth Concussion Act.”
A youth concussion legislation news conference is scheduled for Thursday at the state Capitol before a bill that helps to keep young athletes active and safe will be introduced in committee.
