The Colorado Department of Transportation closed all lanes of Interstate 70 east of Aurora on Wednesday afternoon because of adverse winter driving conditions.
The project to add an extra lane east bound I-70 through the Twin Tunnels is now expected to cost $100 million. Originally the project was estimated to cost $60 million dollars.
