MLB, Union Rescind Alfonzo’s 100-Game Drug Ban

Major League Baseball dropped its 100-game suspension of Colorado Rockies catcher Eliezer Alfonzo for a positive drug test because of the same procedural issues that came up in the Ryan Braun case.

Alfonzo Suspended 100 Games For 2nd Positive Test

Colorado catcher Eliezer Alfonzo has become the first player suspended twice under the Major League Baseball drug program and will serve a 100-game suspension.
