4 Denver Officers Hit By Vehicle While Escorting Students During Protest

Four bicycle unit police officers helping control traffic during a student walkout on Wednesday were hit by a vehicle and injured on Wednesday. One of the officers was undergoing surgery and was in critical condition.

DPD Officers Injured During East High Protest Identified

Early Wednesday afternoon, physicians at Denver Health Medical Center were operating on Denver Police Officer John Adsit, 35, after he was seriously injured while assisting with a protest on Colfax Avenue by students from East High School.
