Once MLB Trade Deadline Dust Settles, Your Fantasy Roster May Need Some Tweaks

It happens every year: A solid productive player on your fantasy baseball roster gets traded to a team that just plans on using him as a backup. If you’re lucky, one of your backups is the benefit of such a trade, too. However, every fantasy owner needs to make adjustments after July 31 to make sure their rosters are still competitive and productive. If not, it’s a slow crawl to the end of September and sixth place in your league.

Chacin Ends Winless Drought In Rockies Victory

Tyler Colvin homered twice and drove in four runs in his first start since his call-up, Jhoulys Chacin won for the first time since April, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Washington Nationals 8-3 on Tuesday night.
