The man convicted in the deadly Boston Marathon bombings will likely spend his sentence at Supermax in Florence, Colorado.
There has been no denying that Richard Kirk fired the shot that killed his wife, but he had eaten part of a marijuana laced cookie, and his lawyer may very well argue he was not responsible for his actions.
Among all the runners at the Boston Marathon last year, a Colorado woman didn’t get to finish due to the bombings. But CBS4’s Mark Taylor talked with Amy O’Brien on Monday, who crossed that finish line this year.
Fifty-eight patients were rushed to hospitals across the city and 23 of them went to University of Colorado Hospital. CBS4’s Kathy Walsh sat down with some of the doctors and nurses who saved so many lives.
