Recent winter storms have resulted in good news for skiers and boarders– Arapahoe Basin Ski Area has extended its ski season for another bonus weekend.
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will open Friday, the first resort in the United States this season.
In a statement Tuesday, officials at the Arapahoe Basin ski resort said after receiving two feet of snow, they will be open the weekend of June 6-8. Weekday skiing, though, ends June 1.
