She wrote, "While not as dramatic as an piercing its chest like the goose that made the news last year in Denver, I have spotted a Canada goose at Denver’s City Park that is suffering due to a fishing line and a lure that is wrapped around its beak and neck and the lure appears to also be stuck in its beak. I have observed it trying to drink and it can’t do so, and it certainly can’t eat. I have called Denver Parks and Rec to find out if it can help this goose that will face a slow death unless it gets help."
