
CBS4 is Partnering with The American Red Cross and CBS Outdoor to Host a Help Center from Noon – 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts
DENVER, Nov. 5, 2012 – CBS4, KCNC-TV, announced today that a CBS4 Help Center, to benefit the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Sandy disaster relief efforts, will be held this Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Viewers can donate by calling the Hurricane Disaster Relief Help Center at 303-831-4357 or 303-831-HELP or by visiting coloradoredcross.org. American Red Cross volunteers will answer viewer calls and CBS4 will give live updates during CBS4 News at Noon, CBS4 News at 5 p.m., CBS4 News at 6 p.m. and CBS4 News at 6:30 p.m.
CBS4 is offering this Help Center to tie in with the CBS Television network’s dedicated support of the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts of the American Red Cross. CBS has a long partnership in times of crisis with the American Red Cross and TV and radio stations around the country are working individually and together to employ unique resources to lend additional support to those relief efforts through telethons, phone banks and promotional campaigns including airing national public service announcements featuring stars of CBS shows.
CBS Outdoor is dedicating billboards to the relief effort and is promoting the Help Center this Friday in Denver with billboards at several metro locations.
