The fireworks, slated to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m., are launched from Bicentennial Park which will be closed to the public. The fireworks display will finish at approximately 9:58 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to enter and exit the event site using Chambers Road as there is ongoing road construction with closed lanes on Alameda Avenue by the Aurora Central Library. Food vendors and the beer garden will be accepting cash or card with an ATM onsite.

 Boulder

Fireworks at Folsom Field

8 p.m.

Free

Ralphie's Indepdence Day Blast has been an annual tradition since 1941. Locals flock to the University of Colorado's football stadium, Folsom Field, to take part in stadium-wide sing-along, listen to live music, see Ralphie the real buffalo that is CU's mascot and, of course, watch the live fireworks show. The fireworks start at dark, usually around 9:30pm or so.

Brighton

The City of Brighton will host a 4th of July Community Celebration from 4-10 p.m. Monday, July 4 at Carmichael Park, located just behind Brighton City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave.

This year's celebration will feature free activities for children as well as a variety of food vendors.

DJ Tidalwave will kick off the musical entertainment at 5 p.m. consisting of interactive activities, group dancing and more. The event's headliner and local favorite Romero featuring The Green Wall Brothers will take the stage at 7 p.m. to entertain guests with four decades of rock 'n roll and more! When the sun goes down DJ Tidalwave will have a script writer on the east facing wall of City Hall illuminating words and images with a laser.

Immediately after, there will be a patriotic presentation. The city will cap off the evening with a spectacular fireworks display - weather permitting - beginning at 9:45 p.m.

Residents are advised to bring lawn chairs, bug spray, blankets, etc.

For more information contact the City's Special Events Division at 303-655-2218 or visit www.brightonco.gov/4thofjuly.

Broomfield

At Broomfield County Commons Park. We start our celebration at 5:30 p.m. with pony rides and inflatables. Enjoy a free concert with contemporary a cappella group "17th Avenue Allstars" and "Wash Park".  Bring your picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from our vendors at the park. Charcoal grills are not permitted. After the concert, at dusk, the fireworks display begins approximately at 9:30 p.m.

Castle Rock

Fireworks will blast off this year from the Santa Fe Quarry butte above Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, starting at sundown on Monday, July 4.

Because of the elevation of the butte -- about 6,700 feet -- and because this is a high-flying show, there will not be a designated park for show-goers to attend. The fireworks are also expected to be seen from most places in Town. However, visibility may be limited in Crystal Valley Ranch, Plum Creek, Founders, Castlewood Ranch and Sapphire Pointe.

The show is expected to start at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4, and last about 15 minutes. You'll know the fireworks are about to begin, because there will be a three-shot salute to start the show. A similar fireworks salute will also end the show.

There is no formal event along with these fireworks. If you're parking in neighborhoods to see the show, please be courteous of driveways and adhere to any posted neighborhood parking restrictions. Parking along major streets and roadways will be limited.

At Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, the course will be open normal hours (6 a.m. to dark). However, the Clubhouse Grill will stay open late. If you choose to take in the fireworks here, please do so from the parking lot of the Clubhouse Grill, or the driving range. Also keep in mind, parking at the course is limited. For safety and maintenance reasons, the golf course asks visitors to please stay in the parking lot or driving range area and off the greens. Rattlesnakes and other wildlife at the course may be a concern.

While Philip S. Miller Park is close in proximity, the natural buttes and valleys may obstruct views from the park. Also, please note the MAC will be closed for the July 4 holiday, though the Castle Rock Zipline Tours will be open until dark.
