DENVER (CBS4) – Look around town and you’ll see Broncos flags and fans proudly sporting their Broncos gear this week, but if you look closer you might also spot some silliness mixed in with the fandom.
The following sign popped up on the side of The Hornet restaurant at 1st and Broadway:
A little bit closer to downtown, this sign popped up outside the Funky Buddha Lounge near 6th and Lincoln:
This sign also showed up outside The Wine Seller at 600 East 6th Avenue this week:
New England quarterback Tom Brady is clearly the target of many Broncos fans, and Broncos No. 1 Fan Denver Mayor Michael Hancock made it clear he hopes the Broncos defense can stop him in his tracks on Wednesday.
Hancock was at the grand opening of a Voodoo Doughnut store on East Colfax Avenue in Denver and was presented with a doughnut that had Brady’s jersey on the top. Hancock took a pretzel stick and performed a mock voodoo ritual by stabbing the Brady doughnut in the chest with it.
The Broncos fan fever spreads into the mountains, too. Cindy Davis of Glenwood Springs took this photo last week of some snowy Broncos fans on the Western Slope:
Casey Day took this photo at Loveland Ski Area:
And Pastor Jason Haynes from Edwards took this photo of his church supporting the Broncos:
If you have a Broncos fan pictures, you can share it with CBS4 here.
