City Officials Approve $5M To Repair Damaged Airport
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Springs Airport is getting a large amount of money to help pay for repairs from a fire last week.
The fire spread through the terminal, heavily damaging the roof.
The city council approved $5 million to help with repairs.
Flights are running on schedule, but officials say much more needs to be done to get the airport fully operational.
