GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Northbound Interstate 225 at Tamarac Street was closed for more than three hours Wednesday after an apparent wrong-way driver smashed into three cars.
That driver is believed to have been heading south in the northbound lanes just after 10 a.m.
Two people were taken to the hospital and it isn’t clear how badly they were hurt.
Police said before noon that their investigation into the crash was still active.
The interstate reopened at approximately 1:30 p.m.
