Accused Shooter Arrested On First Degree Murder Charge
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Sheriff's deputies in El Paso County arrested a man wanted in the killing of a man who was shot in a Kmart parking lot.
Officials took 23-year-old Michael Parkhurst into custody on Friday.
Investigators say he killed 23-year-old Cory Forbush last month. Forbush was reportedly getting out of his brother's car when the shots were fired. No one else was hurt.
Investigators haven't said what lead up to the shooting.
