Burst Water Pipes Keep Justice Center Closed Until Next Week
MORGAN COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Morgan County Justice Center will be closed for the entire first week of the year because of water damage.
A water pipe burst, sending thousands of gallons of water into the building. Investigators believe it was caused by the recent cold snap.
The justice center in Fort Morgan will reopen for court on Monday.
The break caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Inmates were evacuated because of the water overnight Saturday into Sunday but returned the next day.
