Mountain Express Lane Proving To Be A Success
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - CDOT says the I-70 Mountain Express Lane is making a difference for drivers in the high country.
The lane between Empire and Idaho Springs has been open for two winter and two summer seasons now.
This summer, it was open a total of 31 days.
In that time, more than a million vehicles used it. That's a 2% increase from last summer.
The average toll was between $5 and $6.
