Sanders, McKenzie To Miss Sunday's Broncos Game In L.A.
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos will be thin at the wide receiver position next Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie both sprained their ankles in the second half of Sunday night's 23-10 loss to the New York Giants.
Sanders was injured with Giants safety Landon Collins dove for a ball and rolled up on Sanders' ankle. He was taken off the field on a cart and did not return.
McKenzie was hurt on the following series after landing awkwardly while attempting to catch a pass downfield.
Sanders finished the game with five receptions for 76 yards. Sanders has 25 receptions for 266 yards and two touchdowns.
