DENVER (CBS4) – A proposed smoking ban on the 16th Street Mall could soon be a reality.
A Denver City Council committee heard public comment on the proposal on Wednesday.
The ban would apply to cigarettes, e-cigarettes and marijuana.
Council president Albus Brooks says 80 percent of his constituents support the so-called “Breathe Easy” campaign.
The full council will meet to decide if the ban should go into effect.
