Unattended Campfire Gets Out Of Control, Destroys Home
MESA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Sixty people had to evacuate as flames from an unattended campfire got out of control Saturday.
The fire spread to some dry brush, then to a cabin near the town of Collbran.
It destroyed the home, along with another structure and a power pole, but luckily no one was hurt.
Firefighters got the blaze under control.
They warn campers to make sure their fires are completely out before leaving the area.
